The Prudes<\/b><\/span><\/span>, commedia scritta dall\u2019inglese <\/span><\/span>Antony Neilson<\/i><\/span><\/span>, presentata con successo nel 2018 nella rassegna <\/span><\/span>Trend – Nuove Frontiere della Scena Britannica,<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span> arriva <\/span><\/span>all\u2019Off Off Theatre <\/b><\/span><\/span>dal<\/span><\/span> 16 <\/b><\/span><\/span>al<\/span><\/span> 28 aprile 2019<\/b><\/span><\/span>, interpretata da <\/span><\/span>Carlotta Proietti<\/b><\/span><\/span> e <\/span><\/span>Gianluigi Fogacci,<\/b><\/span><\/span> che ne cura anche la regia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chi sono i Prudes? James si presenta al pubblico come James Prudes, ma subito viene corretto da Jessica che tiene a rettificare che loro non sono sposati, e che quindi loro sono ben lontani da i Prudes come recita il titolo, parola che in inglese significa puritani, moralisti, di morigerati costumi, che hanno in odio scandalizzare \u2026 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Questa strana coppia si presenta sul palcoscenico di un teatro pieno di spettatori per inscenare o vivere, il suo dramma di coppia, come una seduta terapeutica collettiva. <\/span><\/span>Al centro di questo dramma il calo di desiderio di James che non riesce pi\u00f9 ad avere rapporti con la sua amata Jessica da molto tempo e che se fallir\u00e0 anche questa ultima chance, cio\u00e8 consumare un rapporto davanti ad una platea, nel pi\u00f9 puro spirito esibizionistico, sar\u00e0 abbandonato da Jessica che non intende passare il resto della sua vita senza sesso<\/b><\/span><\/span>. Ecco che l\u2019ironia del titolo si affaccia prepotentemente non appena al pubblico verr\u00e0 spiegata la situazione, ma come si pu\u00f2 facilmente prevedere l\u2019espediente scelto non dar\u00e0 i frutti sperati. Ecco che inizia allora un gioco al massacro, dove emergono vecchie ruggini, cose non dette che feriscono, giochi di travestimenti e colpi di scena che fanno via via dubitare di chi siano veramente queste persone o personaggi.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

E se fossero due attori che cercano nuove ispirazioni attraverso un anomalo materiale drammaturgico, guidati da un\u2019invisibile regia? E che ruolo ha il pubblico che viene continuamente coinvolto, come se i personaggi sul palco cercassero di tirare a s\u00e9 le sue simpatie e un giudizio favorevole, come in una moderna e borghese agor\u00e0? IL gioco teatrale o meta teatrale che dir si voglia si fa sempre pi\u00f9 sofisticato, esplora anche i meandri linguistici che caratterizzano le due differenti personalit\u00e0, fino a farci pensare che sia proprio questo il motivo del calo del desiderio.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
